Questions and Answers

April 17, 2017

Question: “I have a question about where the vehicles would be picked up or delivered to, besides the Eureka, and Escondido?  I see it says that they will be used throughout CA, but are they going to be picked up that way as well, or do you have a central location where you need the other vehicles?”

Response: The NCIDC does not have the final list of locations for delivery.  The two locations specified were to allow the NCIDC to have an approximate price per truck for delivery to the north and south parts of the state.  The delivery price is NOT to be included in the monthly price, but rather listed as a separate optional cost item.

The RFB states: “The NCIDC would like to take delivery of the vehicles proposed as soon as possible in May of 2017. Please include a brief statement of the date for guaranteed delivery of the vehicles. Vehicles shall be delivered to various locations throughout California as directed by the NCIDC. Please provide cost to deliver trucks to Escondido, CA and to Eureka, CA as a separate optional cost item, do not include it in your bid pricing for each truck.”
